My budget music production/gaming setup
Edited
I am a 15 yr old kid. This is a laptop setup. I use it primarily for music production and sometimes gaming, and also school works. I had some setup changes over the years, this is the latest one. every piece of gear here is considered as budget, except for the laptop and the switch. The desk was built by my dad, as well as the monitor riser. most of my music gear is Samson because they are affordable but quality. Sorry for bad camera quality tho, I have a cheap phone. And ps I also have an IPad for this setup but i was not able to include it in the picture, sorry.
band1t Your setup is amazing, the only things I'd change is get a bigger desk, everything on your current desk seems small, and if you get a bigger desk it will be easier to access. Get some Acoustic foam if you can and put them on the wall, it will not only help with noise but it will look good and fit the producer vibe. I'd also get a shelf for your figurines I love the dark Vader one. These changes are only looks, but if they will help you expand your setup much more, especially if you want to add a 2nd monitor, or put your guitars on display, and have a nice and organized setup overall. Again amazing setupvanaustin Thanks for the feedback! but this setup is just temporary, this is supposed to be my study table. But since the real computer desk and everything else is still on the works, I will stick to this one. And also I have a separate studio/music room that I will soon be able to use. But for now I am holding on to this one, it still works anyways. -

I use my 5 year old Betsy to power this good old setup, where i do graphical design and gaming, like ex: League of legends and titanfall 2, or just watch some youtube. I can also play some old ps2, xbox 360 and wii games. And the mac is for schoolwork. (Sorry there are no links for my mouse, keyboard, mousepads and RGB strips, in the pictures there from a swedish company and their links doesn't work here) hope this helps: Mouse: (They sadly don't sell this one anymore and there's no newer version of it) https://www.netonnet.se/art/gaming/gamingmus/mission-sg-ggm-3-2-gaming-mouse/211332.9347/ Keyboard: (not the one i have because it doesn't sell anymore but a newer version) https://www.netonnet.se/art/gaming/gamingtangentbord/mission-sg-ggk-3-1-mechanical-gaming-keyboard/227352.9349/ Mousepads: https://www.netonnet.se/art/gaming/gamingmusmatta/mission-sg-gsm-3-7-xxl/236192.9348/ https://www.netonnet.se/art/gaming/gamingmusmatta/mission-sg-gsm-1-1-small/235604.9348/ RGB strip: https://www.netonnet.se/art/hem-hushall/lampor-belysning/ljusslinga/andersson-ldu-3-5-2x1m-rgb/241322.12128/

Beginning of something (hopefully) great

My setup was built over time and everything had cost under $350 thanks to sales. I do both gaming and some art on the side. My computer is an old Dell Optiplex 780 which I got for $80 which I stuffed a GTX 1050ti which was $100. I have ordered a set of legs and plan to wrap the desk (not sure what). Specs: CPU- Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.00GHz RAM- 8GB ddr3 @533MHz GPU- Zotac GTX 1050ti 4GB HDD- 1TB
band1t Biggest suggestion is upgrade your monitors, then spread everything apart. You have so much room but you're cluttering it all. I'd put the speakers on the back edge of the table, and then put the figurines on a display. If you want an LED strip goes a long way, as well as upgrade your case.Cable management also needs a bit of work but it's seriously like 4 cables I see. Not bad, a lot of potential thanks for sharing. -

This is my terrible laptop setup and it can barely run Roblox at 40fps lol. I really need a new one to play better games.
