Alienware Setup Ideas?
Published
This isn't my final setup. I was just posting this here to get feedback, I'm not sure how to turn this into a nice and clean setup. I was wondering for ideas. I have 2 PC's Alienware Aurora R9 and R5. R9 for gaming and the R5 for streaming. I'm wanting an Alienware type theme, so white and light blue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It's Time to Build It
DIY Book PC Case
Edited
Recently, I made a custom pc case that resembling a book. It's absolutely nice to look and when you put it on the book shelf, you can't really tell that it's actually a pc. Also, when you put other books with it, it camouflages really well. I have a video on youtube on how I made this pc book case. Here's the link if you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZy7TqZzawo&t=975s YES, I know what you're thinking, the heat! Since this build is very compact and small, the main issues will be the airflow and heat management. The solution is to open the top cover when using it allowing the heat to be released directly to the open air. This pc mainly for web browsing and probably some light office works - no games or overclocking. Anyway, I have tested the temps and the results are also on another video that I posted on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqgeKAuTKgY

$1250 Gaming Setup
Edited
Sorry for the bad quality, all I have is my phone to take pictures. I play games and do schoolwork on my $900 computer . This is displayed on my 165 hertz Sceptre E255B-1658A monitor. For peripherals I have a hand-me-down Sades headset from my friend, a Redragon K552 Kumura RGB keyboard with white Hyper-x pudding key caps , a Mamba Snake M5 mouse, and a Hyper-x Fury S mousepad. The chair is an AuAg gaming chair. My dad and I built a picture frame like cover for our Govee RGB light strips. We also routed the lights through the wall for the inside loop. The computer has a ryzen 5 2600, xlr8 geforce gtx 1660, 16gb of team group t-force ram, a gigabyte b450 ds3h motherboard, a 2 terabyte hard drive from wd, and a silicon power 256g ssd. This is all inside of the fsp cmt510 case. In the future I would like to paint the desk white. When we paint the desk we'll cut the front down a little so that our chair can slide under it a little better and so that if we wanted to mount a mic in the future, we could. For now, I'm very content, but for my next project, I'll get a budget mic, maybe some higher quality or lighter headphones, get a second monitor, and probably I was also going to do a jailhouse mod to the switches but we might just get Outemu Blacks. I'll lube these and do stab mods too. As you can see I also added the rest of the room to the setup. This doesn't include the price, but the whole room is really fun to hang out in. With an Xbox 1 and 360 along with a foosball table it's just a really nice room that I wanted to share.
MasonOliveira I probably won't upgrade my gpu at all and if I did I wouldn't spend more than 250 anyway. Plus we have a b450 so we don't have any Pcie 4.0 slots. I would also need a new power supply and that would make the upgrade $620 when I already hit 165hz anyway. It would be nice to play at a higher texture level but I think I'll just get a 24 inch second monitor and vertically mount that (I found a $13 arm that is vesa compatible) get a $75 Fifine T669 mic, and jailhouse mod/lube our keyboard (putting an o-ring between our click jacket and stem to get rid of the pinging of the blue switch) to make it quieter so if I wanted to stream, it wouldn't be so loud. If I got a new headset I would probably get a studio headset instead of a gaming headset. And it would work because I would already have an external mic. -
