It helps sometimes to have a full view instead of a chopped off one. Additionally, having a second monitor next to the UW in the horizontal position didn't look aesthetically pleasing." Then using angle irons, secured the 2x4 frame to the wall, and then the backboard to the frame. Both the desktop and the backboard are karlbys (74x25 for desk, 74x42 for the backboard)." Plus it’s not the same monitor as the horizontal one and it would probably bother me sitting the same way but not being symmetrical. It’s usually just used for discord/SoundCloud/reddit while I game and orientation doesn’t make a difference." Credit: u/Jacobowitz "As for future updates for the desk setup: I am probably going to pick up a different, larger desk in the near future as it's a bit cramped currently. That and I am going to try and replace my entire audio setup with new headphones, amp, DAC, and maybe a nice pair of bookshelf speakers. For the PC: Definitely going to be replacing the cooling system - new CPU cooler and better, quieter fans. Other than that I've had the PC for over a year and she's still kickin ass! Past that I am looking for any suggestions, hope yall like it!" Email [email protected] if the owner of this setup would like to have it corrected or removed.

I’m happy to say that after much lurking on r/buildapc and watching r/buildapcsales like a hawk, I upgrade my old 2011 machine. I completed the setup in 2017 and just now feel confident to share. My setup is by no means original as I’ve emulated many of the gorgeous setups I’ve seen on reddit (karlby, JBL’s, steaming stack of schiit, etc -- hence the title). Regardless, I really appreciate the community for helping to inspire my build/setup and answer questions before I could even ask them. Thank you!" I was planning to replace it with a more powerful card once the build was done but I haven't found the need yet.” Email [email protected] if the owner of this setup would like to have it corrected or removed.

For the outside cables I mounted a towel hanging bar behind the table and tied all the cables to it. The cables that come out of the PC are tucked behind the case and then ran along the previously mentioned bar.” Email [email protected] if the owner of this setup would like to have it corrected or removed

It's a little bit of a compromise - in a perfect world I would have the lowers more upright but then the top monitor ends up a little high for me. 70% a study-station with some overwatch and steam shenanigans making up the rest of it.” Email [email protected] if the owner of this setup would like to have it corrected or removed.
