I would say compatibility is a big factor. However, the responses to questions and ability to recognize your voice and always respond accurately would be other big factors for me. Others might take language options into account as well.

Universal browsing and watching would be seriously awesome. That's probably my favorite one on the list. Outside of the ones mentioned, I'd like to see them put Siri to work with the Apple TV. She needs to step her game up.
