It will be the first ICO of its kind if the SEC grants Blockstack an exemption under Regulation A+ of the JOBS Act. It will still be difficult to shake the feeling that ICOs are incredibly risky.
Take a peek at just how much money these companies are making off their antivirus software products. Fear of loss yielding profits is certainly nothing new, but I wonder if anyone has considered exactly where these viruses come from and how disproportionate the system is. Most black hat programmers double as legitimate software developers or security experts in their day jobs. For me this begs the question if they create the viruses simply to fuel the security industry in the first place.
The new leak for the OnePlus 7 Pro is pretty enticing. The pop-up and triple-lens cameras sound impressive and I'm interested to see how popular these features become.
When I am sitting down to watch a movie, the desire is always so as to get entertained. Reading through this article, I get the notion that it is still possible possible to get educated, thrilled and inspired. I am now eager to watch 'A Beautiful Mind'.
While it may seem more convenient to have all of your smart home appliances controlled in a single app, I'd be wary of being forced into ONLY using one app for everything in the home. Operating lights, or the dishwasher, or the garage door, or the alarm system all in a single app created specially for that home might mean you are locked into certain models and brands for each device offered. That means that if you need to replace your dishwasher ten years from now, something will have to be backwards compatible with essentially your homes firmware. Or better yet, you may have to shell out for an expensive software upgrade to handle the new dishwasher's undoubtedly futuristic tech. I think we should instead ask for more versatility from all smart home appliances to the point that it resembles the universal remote control of televisions.
It won't appear in 2019, but Sony's latest console sounds like it's worth the wait. It supports 8K resolution and features backwards compatibility with PS4 and PSVR games right out of the box. Overall, it sounds like a serious hardware upgrade. I just have to be patient.
I've had a lingering thought for awhile now that travelling across the country in an RV might be really fun...or really terrible! With all these upgrades, it's leaning more towards really fun.
Part of the bad press associated with Google Stadia is due to sour gamer's grapes. Most gamers that have been around for the last decade can recall at least one other company that claimed they could provide a game streaming service that would work well. They can also recall how terribly it failed and how hurt they were to have ever believed in such a fairy tale in the first place.
Get over it.
One thing that keeps me optimistic about the Google Stadia is the sheer size and power of Google's network and influence in the technology world. If they can't do it, nobody can--at least not yet.
Let's not forget that the infrastructure in most areas of our world is incredibly different than it was even 2-5 years ago. The bandwidth capabilities at an affordable price are higher than ever and there seems to be no end to the improvements scheduled for the next 5 years.
Perhaps I'm just hoping out loud, but take what you hear about Stadia with a grain of salt until you try it for yourself.
I'm pretty weary of installing OS updates for this reason. I don't like messing with something that's working just fine. I prefer to update after the patch has been out for awhile and all the kinks have been identified/worked out.
