I'm probably the one behind here, but many items on this collection come from brands which I've never heard of before. Looking at the trend of branded smartphones, do you think it also applies to these audio devices?

It depends on the product itself because sometimes the name doesn't determine great quality. The example I have in mind is Samsung's Note 7. The best way to know whether a product's quality is through reading reviews from websites like Scooget.

Yeah, I agree with Marvel. A brand name doesn’t mean anything. Reviews are more trustworthy. That’s why I don’t usually purchase products that are new. It’s a good idea to wait a bit and see how others comment on the products.

A while ago, brand names mattered a lot. With many brands now in the market, what matters is the quality of a device. There are lots of little-known brands that are selling cheaper devices.

I will still recommend people to be mindful of brands related to insurance, service, and the reselling value. Sometimes the safety and assurance that you get by getting a device from a trusted brand are worth the extra cost.

I agree with you. A trusted brand that is popular has a higher resale value. On the other hand, a company that is new to the market poses many unforeseen challenges. It is better to stick with well-known brands.
