So I thought flip phones were a thing of the past because it was a pain to always have to flip it shut or open it to use it, but now Samsung is talking about foldable phones? I don't necessarily see this being functional. We may have to see it in action to understand the benefits. Is this going to be the new big thing?

So whose idea was it originally: Huawei's or Samsung's? Either way, competing companies looking to outdo other is one way in which technological trends emerge. Let's wait and see if this will be out by Nov 7.
