The Nikon D7100 was just two years old when the D7200 was introduced to the market. It feels like these upgrades happen so fast and a lot could happen within say, 5 years. What do you like most about the latter?

Lately, I think camera companies have started acting like smartphone companies. They're all just in a rush to push out something "new" instead of creating something unique.

I agree with you on that. What's odd about this updated version is that it doesn't seem like Nikon added any cool features. There's just nothing special here.

I'm no photographer so a camera, is a camera, is a camera as far as I'm concerned. It looks nice enough and I'm sure it takes great photos.

Well, I used to believe so too but over time, I realized that there are superior cameras that are also pricey. Have you ever imagined spending $2,000 or more on a camera? Professional cameramen will not hesitate to make such a purchase!
