Google and Amazon will continue battling for smart assistant supremacy. How would you compare the Echo Dot versus Google Home Mini? I hadn't paid much attention to the generic digital clock but now I agree that there is a compromise on the Dot's uniformity.

Same here! The phone is usually a big distraction, and this leads me to stay awake for longer than I should. I am for the idea of the digital clock's appearance undergoing improvements in the future.

I'm all for adding extra functionality to devices. A digital clock might not be the most exciting thing, but it's practical and useful. I think it's a great update.
