The backlashes and negative criticism didn't just come about on their own; Facebook allowed itself to get to this point. Removing thousands of individual accounts and pages isn't the ultimate solution; strengthening cyber-security policies and working closely with the regulatory authorities will prevent any mishaps from happening. Hopefully, all other companies learnt a thing or two from Facebook's mistakes.
