Microsoft just can't seem to help itself from gathering user data as it collects the activity history of the applications you launch even after you've told it to stop.

From the article I can't really tell if Microsoft just made a mistake with their categorization or if this was done on purpose to mislead users and siphon their data.

The title is quite misleading because this is not a scandal, but could be a bug. Besides, this is not really an issue if the computer is used privately. If this issue will slow down the performance of my computer, then I will also complain.

I followed the steps in the link and realized that Microsoft 10 was collecting and sending my activity report without my consent, so somehow, I think that the title isn't misleading.
