So, Google doesn't want Huawei to be banned because it could force them to create a competitor. Very interesting. When they explain it that way, maybe it should be banned to force some sort of competition. A monopoly is never good news.

I've always known Android was open source, but I found it strange that Google had a complete and total stronghold over it. I'd expect open source to be more...well, you know, varied. Google's a tricky company. I don't trust them one bit.

I'm not a Huawei user, but I know they make decent smartphones that are affordable. I'd hate to see U.S. consumers lose access to that.
