At times, it becomes difficult to consider buying a budget device without making a compromise on quality. Either way, I would opt for a cheaper device (Asus Chromebook Flip C434) considering that all the specs are similar.

Yeah, I agree. Why spend $70 or so more for something that runs the same? I don't think Chromebooks are worth that much anyway because they're often incompatible with the workplace.

There's a lot anyone can do with $70 in savings. Maybe compatibility is something in the works because the lack of it makes these devices limited in scope.

I really do like the design. I am a fan of the slim notebooks and I feel like many brands are slacking on this. I used to own an ASUS and though it was light, it was still very bulky.

I find Chromebooks to be too limited, so I probably wouldn't buy one. This is a nice design, though. It's sleek and professional looking. It's small enough that it would be easy to travel with too.
