For starters, it looks really sleek and for people that love portability, it will come in handy. If this rumour turns out to be exactly as it seems now, then it could be a bargain for a huge chunk of the population, if the price will be nowhere close to $1,000.

Right now the Pixelbooks are on sale for $749. I don't know if that's a permanent price change or not. But yeah, $999 isn't the most affordable. Hopefully that won't be the case with the tablet.

The price tag is a bit high because the competition has lower prices, although they have lower specs as well. I would guess that the price will lower by the end of the year when people are asking for holiday sales.
