I find the price to be fair for glasses with all those capabilities. It makes sense to have them as experimental products, but I see these glasses getting popular over time, despite now being 'available by invitation only'.

It's an interesting concept. Big improvements will come out in the second iteration, they always do, so I wouldn't snag these yet. Being an early adopter rarely pays off.

I don't know if these will do well, but at least the design is really nice. I would be interested to try these out. I would wait a while to purchase with more improvements and stuff.

These are less than Bose's sunglasses. It's cool that they'll work with prescription lenses and according to their website, some insurance programs will even cover these glasses.
