The only solution for someone who has been attacked with this problem would be to change its processor. I just hope that it won't affect the hard drives as there are some data, like videos and photos, are irreplaceable.

Interesting article. I've had times in my life where I wanted to be an "ethical hacker" and it's really cool that people are actually living that life. Maybe there's hope for me yet!

I agree that any attack on the hard drives would be catastrophic. Speculation will be around for a while but it is apparent that this mess will be cleared over time.

This must be costing Intel a fortune! Sadly, as soon as things are truly fixed another attack will come along. It's like playing Whac-A-Mole at the arcade.

Haha. You got a good point. Hackers that wanted to cause harm will not stop in attacking hardware or software systems. The problem with this hack is that it cannot be prevented by any current antivirus software.
