This article is just a rumor so the features here might be true or not. However, I would like to see this new pencil to have the capability to lock the smartphones or tablets. It is like the key lock that cars have.

The key lock feature is a nice feature to have, but I don't think it is essential. My wish is that the pencil can be a wearable, so it can be used with something other than just for writing.

The part about using the pencil on non-touch surface intrigues me the most. Why would one write on a table and have it noted on the iPad or Mac as well? Why not just write on the devices from the beginning?

How about we attach the pencil to the iPad through a chain or cord of some sort. We will see in about a day what this stylus can really do. As for now, we keep on wishing what this pen can do.
