The design of these glasses is actually pretty cool, though it's simply too much to pay if you're only out for the design. Unless you're a huge fashion and photo enthusiast, I don't see these products taking off successfully.

Whenever I read such stories, I get convinced that VR and to a large extent AR, will continue to define future technology. Despite being costly, these spectacles seem to fit the bill.

I agree with you to some extent @Joserock, but it feels like the high price tag will most likely limit their appeal, especially among Snapchat's core user base.

I'm thinking that this device will evolve into something that is more practical to use. This may replace the attached cams on helmets. The cameras can be placed on the sides of the helmet or on the visor.

Yes, I always like this kind of glasses. They are just convenient. It is understandable that the price is more expensive, considering this tech is rather new and very innovative.
