Streaming is the obvious choice for most people but more often than not, the major hindrance becomes the connection speeds. After all, who wants to watch from a website that keeps buffering? On the other hand, no one always wants to keep downloading media as the PC could easily run out of hard drive space.

Streaming was more of an issue when connection speeds were slower. High speed internet is the norm these days so most people are able to stream content on Netflix, Hulu, etc. without issue. If my internet speed was slower I would definitely... See more

I still prefer to download and own digital media. Streaming has its place, but I like having movies I can watch even when there's no internet connection. It's just easier for travel.

I agree that streaming used to be an issue when the connection speeds were not as good but that is no longer the case. I would only download if I needed to watch something on the go and this mainly applies to the YouTube videos.
