It gets annoying when the phone keeps overheating and most of the time, this has everything to do what a user subjects their phone to. Fortunately, it is good to note that there are ways in which this can be prevented.

Too many programs running will heat up the phone. We, humans, even become hot-headed when we are doing so much. I make sure that I close all the programs running in the background when I'm not using the phone for it not to overheat.

This is very true. Many people let a lot of apps run in the background, even when not in use. Overheating could easily cause massive damage to the battery but most of us only try to salvage the situation when it is almost too late.

Another thing that I see people do is charge their phones while still using them. This not only heats up the phone, but additionally, reduces the battery life. A lot of what we do on our phones determines for how long they will last.
