Huawei isn't the only Chinese company in question as the Department of Homeland Security suggests caution when buying drones that are made in China. Apparently, these drones are a potential risk as they could be sending our data back to the Chinese government. Although DJI hasn't been named specifically, the Chinese company makes the vast majority of drones.

I don't really buy it. I don't believe the Huawei scare and I don't believe this one, either. I think people are just being paranoid, or even worse, purposely spreading fake news.

I don't also buy it. All this speculation could hurt especially the Chinese companies. The best the DHS can do is sample a few of these drones and actually ascertain if it is true that they are a compromise to security.
