Some startups made big bucks by creating tech platforms for people to earn money - Instacart, Uber, TaskRabbit, Lyft - it all rings a bell. These tech companies took none of the risks and instead pushed it off onto the users. Now they're accused of stealing tips too.

I am expecting this problem to happen, not specifically, but online disputes between owners and workers. Nobody is checking the online way of business so owners can create their own policies.

This is the downside of the gig economy. Until there are proper regulations and legislation in place, this kind of thing will continue to happen. It's almost forgotten how hard workers had to fight for fair working conditions and laws.
