There are more and more streaming services coming to the market and they all seem to be doing quite well. But I believe there's none that will be as big as Netflix, mainly because Netflix is worldwide and many streaming services are still limited to certain countries.

I agree that Netflix is so far the biggest and greatest. But we will see in the future. It seems like other services like Apple is planning to invest more in its streaming service.

I think being first really gives them a big advantage. People are resistant to change so they're more likely to stick with what they know. They'll stay on top for a long time.

Apple and Disney will be nipping at their heels in no time, especially since Netflix is priced higher and is losing content left and right.

Disney has a huge advantage. It's affordable for families and parents know their kids can be entertained without being exposed to a bunch of bad stuff.

Netflix should be worried. Apple may not have a ton of content right now, but they're getting more and more each month. Gifting free access for a year to those who buy certain Apple devices will help them build a fan base I think.

Yes, Netflix has been dominant for a while, but it probably has to change tact and strategy in the face of competition. It can't sit pretty when the competitors are investing heavily.

It depends on what Netflix does to counter the competition. The company may need to reduce the subscription costs to match the other companies.

Yesterday, a magazine article suggested that Netflix is looking for ways to stop password sharing in order to bolster the growth of its service. That could be a way for them to open up more revenue streams.
