I just assumed that wireless carriers didn't throttle any of their paying customers during emergencies, but apparently that's not the case. This is unreal! I don't know if it will help, but I contacted the elected officials in my state and asked them to support the bill.

The almighty dollar is king, even in the face of literal life or death! Data transfer speed is precious and these companies know it. They exploit us at every turn. It has to come to an end.

It is ridiculous that a data company would even consider throttling mobile data in such instances. Why would anyone think of subjecting a company to twice the cost of a data plan in the event of an emergency? Surely this has to be stopped at all... See more
