The MS Office-suite undoubtedly has cool features that most of these alternatives lack. I have previously used the WPS Office application on my phone. Have you had any previous experience with any of those listed?

I'll use something like Google Docs in addition to Microsoft Office. I can't quit Microsoft all the way since it's used so heavily at work. There's just no escaping it.

I have tried many different applications but none give me everything that Office covers. I do use Google Docs, but that's mainly to keep track of some things, definitely not for analyses and the sorts

I personally don’t really use MS office unless when I find it’s necessary. Google docs and such are already doing pretty well. Though I must say MS office usually allow more personalisation. I rarely hear about WPS to be honest.

That's a good list and I appreciate being able to see all the alternatives in one place. I had no idea there were so many!

I also had no idea that there were many alternatives until I stumbled upon this article. All of us seem heavily reliant on MS-Office, both at work and home. I don't even think WPS comes close.

I've used Open Office at home and it's pretty comparable, but it's impossible to ditch Microsoft since my college uses it. At least I get a student discount.
