It seems that the world keeps getting smaller and that it is possible to trace your roots through a DNA website, thanks to a closer relative who was/is willing to volunteer their biological samples. Isn't this scary?

What would I be afraid of? People don't need DNA kits to know a person. Just go to one of the social media websites and we will know what kind of a person someone is unless that person doesn't like to use to any social media apps.

I'm afraid it could be used against us later. Would cops still need warrants for DNA testing? Would insurance companies be able to access that information to determine what we should pay?
