While their employees keep repeating, "There is nothing more important to us than protecting people's information" there are just too many stories like this one that show just how little Facebook actually values privacy. When will these things stop happening?

That's just scary. For all of Facebook's talk, I think they just don't care about their users. I know that users draw in advertisers, but we aren't their bread and butter otherwise.

Wow! Each reveal seems to be worse than the last one. Next thing you know, we're going to be hearing that Mark Zuckerburg used the passwords as unique codes in a company-wide lottery.

After all that has been said about Facebook, it would be interesting to know whether or not it continues to be the social media of choice for most people. Why would a company with its standing overlook such a serious privacy and security lapse?

I do think Facebook's days are numbered, but it's going to be awhile yet before their downfall. There has been a tremendous amount of bad press and we still all flock to Facebook (I do it too) out of convenience.
