Amazon's 4K Fire TV Edition with Dolby Vision is an upgraded version of its original Fire TV Edition. The smart TV model comes from Toshiba, one of Amazon’s manufacturing partners. As with existing Fire TV Edition smart TVs, the 4K model offers the Fire TV experience without relying on a separate stick or box. This means you can launch apps, search for TV shows, switch inputs, control smart home devices and more, using just your voice or direct access to Alexa using a voice remote. Simply connect any HD antenna (sold separately) to watch live over-the-air TV, or stream movies and shows from Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, HBO and more.
Furthermore, the added Dolby Vision, an expansion on HDR10, is intended to have more precise control over colors and contrast all the way from mastering until it appears on your screen.
