Amazon Echo Link
The new Amazon Echo Link bridges the gap between streaming music and your stereo or home theater system. It takes streaming music and improves the sound quality when you wirelessly connect it to an Echo device and plug into a set of speakers – it is the missing link! It connects streaming music from your favorite services like Amazon Music, Apple Music, Pandora, Spotify and Tidal – to your amp or receiver.
With multiple digital and analog inputs and outputs, the Amazon Echo Link allows you to control music selection and volume with your voice, giving an added bonus of tying into an Alexa-based multi-room music system. While it is not an amplifier, it connects to an existing high-end stereo system via the amplifier or power speakers and deliver superior audio quality. Instead of the analog connection of an Echo Dot, the Amazon Echo Link delivers audio over a digital connection
At 7 x 12 x 14cm, the Amazon Echo Link is a relatively small-sized black box, with the design limited to some smooth curves at top and bottom, front and back. It only has a volume control and 3.5mm headphone output in front of the box. The volume control itself is ringed by a total of nine pin-point white lights. Behind each box there is a selection of sockets for input/output, plus a connection for mains power.
The Amazon Echo Link looks to serve the needs of a small demographic of Echo owners looking to improve the quality of Pandora or Spotify when using a stereo system.
