DJI introduced the professional-grade drone, the Storm, through a provider at Cine Gear Expo in Los Angeles 2019. The four-day event, which took place from May 30th to June 2nd, attracted top-tier creators in the technology, entertainment, and media industries.
The Storm comes with eight propellers and a max speed of 49.7 mph (Sport mode) / 37.2 mph (GPS mode). It also can operate from a temperature of -10°C/14°F to 40°C/104°F. While its flight time is approximately 8-15 minutes, it is able to carry a payload of up to 40.8 pounds (18.5kg), much catered to the needs of cinematography crews.
