With #Microsoft and #Apple going head-to-head, we are getting to experience more #technologicaladvancements. The #MicrosoftSurfaceLaptop3 and #AppleMacBookAir are two devices worth every cent. Which one would you go for?
I'd go for the 13-inch Microsoft Surface mostly because it's compatible with my job and it's $100 cheaper than the MacBook Air. I wish it included a Thunderbolt 3 port though.
The lack of a Thunderbolt 3 port is a big miss, especially for a laptop at this price. I'd expect it from a budget laptop though. Still, I'd buy the smaller Surface as I like the pen and keyboard better.

I'm in Apple's corner as well. Apple's laptops may cost more, but they last for a long time, which makes the price differential fairly negligible in my opinion. The Microsoft Surface laptops aren't terrible, but I prefer the Mac.
As an afterthought, it is good to keep checking for new devices, just in case anyone needs to make a purchase. I would opt for a MacBook, irrespective of the slight difference in price.
I agree with you, Octane, and most people will go for a device that lasts for a long time, irrespective of the cost. These laptops will appeal to different people, based on preference.
There are massive deals going on right now for the Surface 2 and the Surface Pro 6 if anyone is interested. Personally, I'm waiting for the Surface Neo to come out.
