I read that more businesses are incorporating Google's devices because their employees want to work on the internet and store their work in the cloud so they can access it anywhere.  Maybe these will take off.

It's fascinating how much goes into consideration when designing a game.  I've been addicted to gaming since I was a kid and it's easy to forget how much work it takes behind the scenes.

Creating devices for Wi-Fi 6 is about like creating 8K televisions when we can barely get 4K content.  It's all about bragging rights.  Both for the manufacturer and the owner.

I think self-driving cars have a lot more variables than drones and there is also a lot more at risk than a damaged package. Self-driving cars make me nervous, but I'm all for the drones! Bring them on!
Carter
I feel the same way.  I actually like driving and I worry about the safety of self-driving cars, but I'm all for drone delivery.

I need to work on getting a Wi-Fi extender or adding a few repeaters.  I just haven't gotten around to it yet.  This article gave me some ideas.  Thanks!
Carter
I think it's great for showcasing what might come down the pipeline in the future.  Sometimes the designs are too ambitious and they never make it to market, but it's still neat to see.

I've never known a single person who used Apple TV or even seen one of the device in real life haha. Perhaps the acquisition of a beloved series will help them get more customers.
Carter
You don't need the device to watch Apple TV+.  Or at least I don't think you do.  You can watch on a tablet or computer through the app.
Carter
I'm getting one of these iPads, but I don't see any of Apple's tablets as being budget-tablets.  Not when Amazon's Fire tablets and Walmart's Onn tablets are usually much cheaper.
Carter
As much as I'd like a dual-screen laptop, I don't like the trade-offs here.  It won't be easy to adapt to a relocated trackpad.  Having it in the right-hand corner will make it awkward to use.  The battery life is far too short as well.
FancyyFrog
I surely hope they won't put out a device with a flaw like this, because that is really going to hurt their image. I think they already took a big hit with the exploding phones.
Carter
I'll be shocked if they bungle the release after receiving those scathing tech reviews.  It seems like a really cool phone, but maybe it's just not meant to be.
DarrenJax
I always forget how to execute most of them, so this list makes for a handy cheat sheet.  The /? option that can be added on to any command seems useful.
Carter
That's me too.  I guess I don't use any of the commands often enough to remember them, but they do seem like great shortcuts to getting what you need.

Those clowns are super creepy, especially the one that's holding a smaller clown in a cage.  It would freak me out to trigger that nightmarish thing.

Although on the surface, it looks like the Gen4 AIC SSD would be great for gaming, it requires using a computer with specific components to really meet its full potential.  At the moment it's very limited.

I don't think I'd be comfortable with Amazon listening to me all day.  That's a lot of microphone power to wear on your face everyday.

@Verypunny, Bose is less threatening, though because it has a much smaller reach.  It doesn't create AI technology and it isn't one of the Big Five tech companies dominating the world and becoming a monopoly.  Maybe that's why the company got a... See more

I think it's because those two series of watches had the biggest changes from previous models.  Well, Apple's Series 4 watch saw one of the biggest improvements, but the Series 5 has those two plus it's new.

That's true about Microsoft's web browsers.  The company has really trained people to use what's already installed on their computer, and for many of us, that mindset started in elementary school while using the school's computers.  It's a bias... See more

I love physical books as well, but there's so much convenience with ebooks. I love reading on my iPad because my preferred format is epub. The Amazon Kindle is great, but it would be great if it supported more book formats.
Carter
Have you tried using  Caliber?  It's freeware that lets you read books in many different formats.  It's handy software and I use it all the time.
Carter
Great article! It looks like the PS5 is shaping up to be a speedy console.   I'm looking forward to backwards compatibility - if it works well and doesn't cause too many glitches in games.

The Behmor Connected is integrated with Alexa so that's a win for me. So, do we get to hear the story about how your machine died?
Carter
I have to give it to Facebook, the concept does sound pretty cool.  No way would I want them to have access to my communications though.  They already know too much about me.

It's pretty nice and seems more durable than other models.  However, I've been burned by HP in the past, so I'm hesitant to buy from the brand again.

My parents have one of those and the picture is truly brilliant.  I wouldn't buy a refurb from a third-party seller, but I would happily grab a refurb from the manufacturer.  Especially if it comes with a similar warranty as their new models.
Carter
I like that update personally, though I don't think it's enough to make me buy a new one.  I wonder if the always-on design will drain the battery more quickly.

I loved every bit of the Series 4, and the company did well to allow the watch face to be always-on, in Series 5. This new smartwatch gives Google such a steep hill to climb, in looking to compete with Apple.
Carter
It's easy to find refurbished models Jayden and I'm sure third-party sellers will need to deplete their stock, as will Apple.  You could save quite a bit taking that route if the always-on display isn't important to you.
JustBeFrank
I would definitely look into this. I do like having a smart audio system and Sonos is great, but it is so pricey. To me, Sonos does look more exclusive, but not necessarily better.
Carter
Right!  The fact that you can buy all three of Roku's speakers for about the same price as one Sonos speaker makes Roku the clear winner.  It stacks up to be "good enough" sound at a terrific price.
TimmyZ
It would be nice if Puma would give these smartwatches as a bundle for their shoes. It may be a hard sell if Puma will sell these watches individually.
Carter - Edited
Now that' a good idea that would make for brilliant marketing!  I could see these selling well as part of an exclusive bundle.  Puma should've thought of that!

Okay, so it's a light-weight phone, but what about the camera?  Can I use it to take awesome selfies for my nonexistent Instagram account?  My five followers count on my inspirational selfies and quotes.
Carter
Yeah, what are the camera specifications.  I'd like to know the price too, since pricing plays a large role in whether I'll decide to buy or not.
Carter
I'm surprised the smaller model isn't better done considering that most students and professionals want a laptop that's sleek and small to make its portability easier.
Carter
It really is disheartening that companies are making products that can't be readily repaired.  I don't know if it's by design or if the technology is just that far advanced and sensitive.
Carter
That's pretty sad that Apple's iPhone can't outlast the less expensive Android models.  This is a great list!  It's a good reminder that there's a whole world of phones out there that aren't made by Apple or Samsung.

That's bound to be a sweet sounding headset since it's made by the pros of the gaming industry.  I bought a headset made by Razer a couple years ago and it's still going strong.

This will hopefully end all the problems with stuttering and lag.  I'm glad that Ryzen is pushing Intel to compete.  That's great news for us consumers.

When it comes to smartphones, I notice the sizes of the phone and the screen, the battery capacity, the price, and how speedy it works.  Most people are on-the-go today, so battery capacity definitely matters.
Carter
I don't see why smartphone makers are so against physical buttons.  Is that something you all look for in a phone?  I'd love to know why that elevates the phone's appeal.

It's just a refresh of their Fire 7 tablet line.  I wish Amazon had chosen to make something new and exciting.  I still miss the Mayday support feature.

Yeah, these product refreshers just seem like a way to get good press and a way to put something "new" out with less work involved.

A lot of businesses like to keep their documents in the cloud because it makes it easier to work remotely while keeping up with the day-to-day operations.  A Chromebook works great for that purpose.
Carter
I hope the PS5 delivers because the hype for this new console is out of control.  It's not even coming out until November 2020.  That's a long wait!
Carter
Amazon already has its whole digital ecosystem in place.  There's everything from Kindle eBooks, to Audible, to Prime  Movies, to Prime  Music, and Twitch.  All of that gives Amazon the advantage.
Carter
I'm honestly shocked that some members of the fan base got tattoos with the logo. That's just way over the top!  I'm looking forward to seeing what the company creates.  I don't need a fancy toaster, but let's see what they can do.
Carter
I'd go out and buy one depending on price.  The thing they have to worry about is that many games are played online.   Then they're dealing with speeds set by the person's ISP.
Carter
I'm glad to see they've done something about the dragging that caused some of us gamers to feel motion sickness.  The touch controllers appear to have improved too.
Carter
They really need to do something totally different in order to bring the prestige back to the product line.  I think it's telling that they're trying to compete with other brands, because I remember when other brands had to compete with Apple.
Carter
Creating musical fruit would be a great way to engage kids with a STEM activity.  I've needed holographic directions a time or two before.  It would be easier than trying to follow along with a YouTube video.

You don't play games on your phone?  Not even quick games designed for killing time?  I'd never make it through waiting anywhere without mobile games.  I wouldn't buy a special phone for gaming, but many smarphones can handle most games.

No! No, I would not spend $70 plus bucks on a mouse. I have the Logitech G602 gaming mouse on their list and it works great.  It doesn't cost a fortune either.

I wish we could use these earbuds on any device we chose without extra hassle.  I love the battery power and charging abilities of the Galaxy Buds, but I have an iPhone.

I was surprised too, Emma.  Apparently some of their IOUs are coming due so they're raising subscription prices to help cover that.  I'm not keen on paying more but I guess I will.

I loved the first ever Dell Latitude laptop I ever owned because it had a double cell that would really last for long. I have no doubt that this is a device worth owning.
Carter
I had one like that.  It was a Dell Latitude D620 I believe.  The battery lasted for ages and charged quickly too.  I don't think they make laptops that use double cell batteries anymore.

I just don't think it's a priority for Zuckerberg or his team.  I'd like to see user privacy taken seriously, but the data is already out there.  Deleting it now will make little difference I think.

I'd say that Zuckerberg, the board members, and the executive team are looking at user privacy seriously, but they can't determine how to monetize our data while protecting our privacy rights.

I have never played this game before but reading through the article, I now understand a few things about the rules. To have a winter theme in the 7th season is pretty much creative and I think most players are going to like this.

It's similar to other battle games, but it's more playful I guess you could say.  It doesn't have the blood, gore, and realism like other games.  I enjoy it.

The article seems to talk more about the electric scooters than the clientele that this start up is after. Whereas the company's aim is to help workers save money on transportation costs, electric scooters aren't the safest means of transport.
